After almost 25 years, the music quiz “Do you have any sounds?” returns. back on TV. With original presenter Matthias Opdenhövel and other celebrities.

Between 1999-2001 the former VIVA presenter Matthias Opdenhövel (53) tells the audience in his cult music advice show “Hast Du Töpfen?” regularly something for the ears – back then at the VOX station. Almost 25 years later, he is now starting another round with the format on Sat.1 from May 30, 2024.

As the broadcaster announces, it’s not just the original presenter who returns with the show. The live band “Tönlein Brillant” was also in the studio in the late nineties and will be there again with the original line-up.

Nora Tschirner, Smudo and Lutz van der Horst as team captains

In contrast to previous times, in the new edition there are no longer individual candidates competing against each other; this time there are a total of three celebrity duos – consisting of a team captain and a guest – who have to prove their music knowledge. As team captains, actress Nora Tschirner (42), rapper Smudo (56) and comedian Lutz van der Horst (48) will compete against each other with their respective guests in all six episodes announced so far.

Apparently nothing has changed significantly in terms of the show’s tried and tested rules: Who recognizes a song from the first notes? Who has the most songs in fast forward? And who can recognize them using just one instrument? Each program offers a prize of up to 25,000 euros, which, however, does not go to the already wealthy celebrity teams, but to a viewer from their assigned audience block in the studio.

The comeback of “Do you have any sounds?” starts on May 30, 2024 on Sat.1 and on Joyn, starting at 8:15 p.m.
