Crypto market leaders support Vitalik’s Privacy Pools protocol, believing it is a better alternative to Tornado Cash.

After an article was released introducing a regulatory-friendly protocol on Ethereum called Privacy Pools Co-authored by Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, it has recently received support from key figures in the crypto industry, including the founders of Coinbase, Metamask, and Messari.

The Privacy Pools protocol will allow users to demonstrate that their funds do not come from illicit sources. without being forced to reveal the entire transaction history of those funds The protocol is designed as an alternative to the Tornado Cash protocol, whose founder has been charged with money laundering and sanctions violations.
