Crushed by a blazing sun, royal guards fainted in full ceremony

The blazing sun, the enemy of the British royal guard… On Saturday, at least three soldiers fainted during the rehearsal of the « Trooping the color »a ceremony to be held next Saturday which celebrates the official birthday of the British sovereign.

This rehearsal took place under the eyes of Prince William and in very difficult conditions with temperatures exceeding 30°C, for the first time this year, indicates the television channel Sky News.

More than 1,400 soldiers and 200 horses took part in this ceremony in the heart of London. On the images of SkyNews, we see the rescuers intervene at least three times to rescue and evacuate soldiers on the ground.

Prince William, who took part in the ceremony, had a word for them on Twitter. “A big thank you to all the soldiers (sic) who participated in the colonel’s review this morning in the heat. Difficult conditions but you all did a great job,” he wrote.
