Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden (46) attended Gala dinner for the Finnish presidential couple in Stockholm provided the fashion highlight. The future queen appeared in a flowing white cape dress. An eye-catcher in the elegant evening gown with a V-neck was the hanging feather headdress that adorned the top, along with some medals.

The 46-year-old paired the dress with an equally glamorous pearl clutch, necklace and a tiara. Her hair was styled into an updo underneath the royal headdress. At Victoria’s side was her husband Prince Daniel (50), who wore an elegant black suit.

Queen Silvia appears despite her eye problem

The gala dinner was hosted by King Carl XVI. Gustaf (77), also in a black suit, together with his wife, Queen Silvia (80), for Finland’s President Alexander Stubb (56) and his wife Suzanne (54). While the 54-year-old appeared at the palace in a gold one-shoulder gown, the Queen chose a pink, lace-embroidered ball gown that fell to the floor for the evening. She also wore a fuchsia clutch and a sparkling tiara.

Before the gala dinner, an appearance by Silvia caused concern. The 80-year-old’s left eye appeared to be bloodshot in pictures. Your participation in the evening event should now allay your worries. Also present in the palace was her son Prince Carl Philip (44), who came with his wife Princess Sofia (39). The former model presented a dark gown with lace details.

Two-day state visit

Finnish President Alexander Stubb traveled to neighboring Sweden for a two-day state visit. The politician and his wife were welcomed by King Carl XVI on Tuesday morning (April 23). Gustaf and Queen Silvia were received in Stockholm.

“With this visit, we hope to further develop the close cooperation from which our countries have benefited for so many years,” said Carl XVI. Gustaf in a speech. According to a statement from the palace, the fact that Finnish presidents make their first state visit to Sweden is a long-standing tradition and an “expression of the special relationship” between the two countries.
