The heir to the Swedish throne, Crown Princess Victoria (46) and her husband Prince Daniel (50), are currently on a state visit to the US state of California. Until Thursday (February 22nd) they will focus on the topics of climate, artificial intelligence (AI) and innovation in order to deepen Sweden’s relationship with the third largest state in the USA in these areas. as the Swedish royal family announces.
The heir to the throne takes part in the Green Transition Summit
The heir to the Swedish throne is scheduled for a company visit to the Californian city of Palo Alto, about 50 kilometers south of San Francisco, on Wednesday, February 21st. Together with a Swedish business delegation, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will visit the companies Nvidia, Intel and Google, among others, to discuss the development of artificial intelligence. In the afternoon there will be a visit to Standford University, which will focus on the ethical aspects of AI.
On Thursday, February 22nd, the heir to the throne will take part in a seminar at the Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto. This will focus more on cooperation between Sweden and California. Afterwards, Victoria and Daniel are expected at the Green Transition Summit, a conference that will focus more on cooperation in the context of the green transition. Crown Princess Victoria will give a speech there to representatives from science and industry.
Visit to a rescue center for marine mammals
Already on the first day of their state visit, several appointments awaited the Swedish royals: in photos that… the official Instagram channel of the Swedish royal family, the heir to the throne appears, among other things, in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, the landmark of the city of San Francisco.
