Which films will win the Critics Choice Awards in 2022? “Belfast” and “West Side Story” have the best odds.

Just shortly after the Golden Globes is now too the list of nominations for films for the Critics Choice Awards 2022 been published. At the 27th edition of the award ceremony on January 9, 2022, the makers of the autobiographical drama “Belfast” and the musical film “West Side Story” in particular can have high hopes: Both films have a total of eleven nominations, including the Award “Best Film”.

The “Belfast” actors Jamie Dornan (39), Ciarán Hinds (68) and Caitriona Balfe (42) all have the chance to win the “Best Supporting Actor” and “Best Supporting Actress” awards. Ariana DeBose (30) and Rita Moreno (90) are also nominated for “West Side Story” in that category.

These films also garnered many nominations

“The Power of the Dog” and “Dune” are starting with ten nominations each. “Licorice Pizza” and “Nightmare Alley” have each been nominated eight times. There are six nominations for “King Richard” and “Don’t Look Up”.

Favorite at the Golden Globes

With seven nominations, “Belfast” is also one of the favorites at the Golden Globes 2022. “West Side Story” has been nominated a total of four times.
