The sabotage of rail traffic in northern Germany at the weekend. Before that, the attack on the gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea. Both incidents show that the critical infrastructure in Germany and Europe is vulnerable. Norbert Gebbeken is spokesman and founder of the Risk Research Center at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Neubiberg, which conducts interdisciplinary research on urban and critical infrastructures, among other things.
