And another record for the insatiable Cristiano Ronaldo. Thanks to his double in the victory against Hungary on Tuesday in Budapest (0-3), the Portuguese striker now scores 11 goals in the five finals (another record) of the Euro in which he participated. He alone occupies the head of a ranking that he shared until now with Michel Platini, author of nine achievements, but in a single edition (1984).

In detail, CR7 planted two goals in 2004, one in 2008, three in 2012, three in 2016 and therefore already two in 2021. And it is perhaps far from over, since it still remains at the minimum two group matches to play for Portugal. At 36, Ronaldo has scored 106 times in 176 caps. Iranian Ali Daei, who has struck 109 times in 149 capes, may start to tremble for his world record.

By the way, the Juve striker played his 39th game on Tuesday in a major international competition (World Cup and Euro). Then again, no one has ever done better.
