Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez recently welcomed a daughter. Now the name of the youngest scion became known.
Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo (37) and his partner Georgina Rodriguez (28) recently became parents of a little daughter. Now the 28-year-old has not only published the first baby pictures on Instagram, but also revealed the name of the offspring. “Bella Esmeralda”, writes Rodriguez to three photosthat show the girl.
While the little one is smiling in the first picture, she is sleeping in the other two snaps. Rodriguez also wrote Bella Esmeralda’s date of birth for the series: on April 18, 2022 she saw the light of day.
Sad news overshadowed birth
On April 21, Cristiano Ronaldo published a family picture for the first time, in which he held his newborn daughter in his arms. On the photo also features his four other children and Rodriguez.
The Monday before, the two revealed that one of the twin children had died. “It is with deepest sadness that we have to announce that our boy has passed away,” it said in a message. “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to face this moment with some hope and joy.”
Eleven years ago, Ronaldo became a father for the first time, when Cristiano Jr. saw the light of day. The twins Eva and Mateo (4) followed in 2017 via surrogate mother. He has also had their first child together with Rodriguez since 2017, daughter Alana Martina (4). The couple has been dating since 2016.
