She got rich from pink wigs, funny jokes and marketing her bath water. Belle Delphine’s business is thriving during the Corona crisis.

One million euros a month is a handsome income for an influencer, which is not normally earned with product presentations. South African model Belle Delphine is in this league. First, she had gathered a handsome crowd of followers around her with sexy photos. The breakthrough came when one of her fans sighed, “I want to sip your bathwater!”.

It wasn’t new or original, but Belle took him at his word. “I laughed at it at first and then I thought it was a great idea,” Belle Delphine told the British Telegraph. And she started bottling her bathwater and selling it for the equivalent of $25. Each bottle generated new orders. Most customers didn’t worship the beauty’s bathwater in private, posting videos of them dumping the liquid, rubbing it on themselves, or using it in cooking. Business was booming and Belle Delphine had to take “a lot of baths” to keep up with demand.

Funny and expensive

The bathwater cult made her stand out from the crowd of internet beauties. She gained so many fans that she started a channel for paying customers. A maximum of ten percent of followers migrate to a payment channel (read: “This is how the “OnlyFans” app makes models rich”). Belle Delphine is also one of the high-price channels. The pleasure of being spoiled with intimate messages, photos and their jokes for a month costs 30 euros. Real porn stars are content with half the fee.

There she lets off steam as a “weird eleven kitty girl” – with a pink wig and cat ears. “I never wanted to be famous,” Delphine said. “It was never something I wanted.” But at the moment her income is over one million euros a month, so she can’t say no.

Belle and the Internet

Your day is full. “I go to bed very, very late, like 3 a.m., and then I sleep very late,” she says. “Then I’m basically on the internet the rest of the day. I’m just in the loop because it’s really important to know everything that’s going on.”

Belle Delphine doesn’t just produce erotic images – she jokes and comments on the world. So she must be up to date.

For them, the whole thing is just great lucrative fun so far. She doesn’t see herself as a performance artist either: “I think the internet is a really fun place to tease and fool around, a lot of people take it too seriously.”

Belle Delphine cannot answer the question of whether it is absurd when older men admire her so much. “If the obsession with me is getting in the way of my fans’ personal lives and they don’t want to meet girls in real life because they think I’m the only girl for them, then I think that’s a big problem.”

Her next problem, however, is finding and buying a new house for herself and her boyfriend in London.
