A 31-year-old has been charged with three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in connection with Tuesday’s crimes. He remains in custody.

The suspect remains in custody in the case of the Nottingham violence that left three dead and three injured. This was reported by the British news agency PA after the 31-year-old was brought before the magistrate on Saturday. He is charged with three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in connection with Tuesday’s crimes.

According to the investigation, the alleged perpetrator killed two 19-year-old students with a knife in the early hours of the morning in the central English university town of Nottingham. He then tried unsuccessfully to break into a nursing home before stabbing a 65-year-old and stealing his van. He injured three other people with the vehicle before the police could stop and overpower him. The man’s motive was initially unclear.
