A 32-year-old is on her way to France when her car suddenly collides with the object. The driver remains unharmed – the police are investigating.
Unknown people lowered a metal object with a rope on Autobahn 6 near Saarbrücken and caused an accident.
A car collided with the object, a police spokesman said on Sunday. Nobody was injured. The incident happened on Saturday.
According to investigators, a 32-year-old driver was driving in the direction of France when she collided 1000 meters from the Goldene-Bremm junction with the metal object that had been lowered onto the carriageway on a rope from the bridge.
The police did not provide any further information about the object, nor about any damage. The investigators are now hoping for evidence from witnesses, they are investigating dangerous interference in road traffic.
