In “Tatort: High Mass for Toni” there is a double role. Sisters Toni and Eva Hentschel are played by Sina Martens.
“Tatort: High Mass for Toni” (June 4th, the first) is about, among other things, the four offspring of a rich and influential family of industrialists in the Regensburg district. The two sisters, the eponymous Toni and Nesthäkchen Eva Hentschel, are embodied by Sina Martens (35).
Born in Cologne and raised in northern Germany, the Berliner by choice says of her dual role: “It was a great challenge and great pleasure for me to be able to show these two sisters in their great differences and still give them something that connects them.”
Sina Martens is a theater star
Sina Martens studied in Leipzig from 2010. She then played at theaters in Berlin, Hanover, Oberhausen, Bonn, Frankfurt am Main and Leipzig. The reward for the effort: scholarships and various awards.
She has also been in front of the camera since 2013. In “Tatort: Turkish Honey” (2014) from Leipzig, she sniffed Sunday crime thriller air for the first time. Also in her filmography: “Trunk” (Amazon), “I don’t work here” (ZDF Neo), “Der Parfumeur” (Netflix).
As per your agency, Sina Martens is also very athletic. She does “stage fencing, fencing, fitness, soccer, dancesports, tennis, yoga” and has mastered “ballet, hip-hop, ballroom dancing”. She also sings chansons and plays the guitar.
