The police in North Rhine-Westphalia deployed 80 men to arrest a ring of drug traffickers. Seven of the nine suspects are now in custody.

Ten properties were searched on suspicion of commercial drug trafficking. The main suspect is a 27-year-old from Mönchengladbach. In addition, the police temporarily arrested seven more men and one woman between the ages of 24 and 38 on Wednesday. Nobody was injured.

In addition to various drugs such as cannabis, crystal meth, ecstasy and amphetamine oil, the police found a five-figure sum of cash and several weapons. But she also seized five bicycles and a car. A man and a woman were released, and a judge ordered the remaining seven suspects into custody on Thursday.
