The two convicts in a double murder trial have appealed the judgment of the Bayreuth Regional Court.

The two convicts in the Mistelbach double murder trial do not want to accept the court’s decisions. They had appealed the revision, said a spokesman for the Bayreuth district court of the German Press Agency.

On January 23, a 19-year-old was sentenced to 13 years and 6 months as a youth prisoner for the murder of the parents of his then-girlfriend. The Bayreuth Regional Court also sentenced the couple’s eldest daughter to nine years and six months for murder in two cases. In the spectacular case, the 19-year-old stabbed, but the chamber believes that the 17-year-old daughter was the driving force behind the murders. “She is the initiator of this act,” said the presiding judge. Without her, the murders would never have happened.

On the night of January 8th, 2022, a 51-year-old pediatrician and his 47-year-old wife, also a doctor, were found stabbed to death in their bedroom. The couple leaves four children.
