A man in Anderlecht was sitting in a car when he was hit by 17 bullets from an assault rifle. He dies at the scene of the accident. Is the crime related to the drug environment?
A 31-year-old man is shot 17 times Anderlecht near Brussels killed. The man was sitting in a car when he was shot at with an assault rifle from another car on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. Four men were sitting in the second car, reports the Belgian news agency Belga.
The victim died at the scene of the accident. There the police seized 19 cartridge cases. The perpetrators’ car was found burned out that same night around three kilometers away in the municipality of Molenbeek, as the Belgian daily newspaper “Le Soir” reported.
According to Le Soir, the event could be linked to the drug scene. It would be the eighth drug-related death this year.
