Injured in attack in Essen gym

Two men are said to have stabbed visitors in a gym in Duisburg. It is not yet clear how many injuries there are. A large contingent of police is on site.
In connection with the attack in a Duisburg gym, the police have asked the population to avoid the affected area around the city hall in the city center. “We are on site with strong forces,” said a spokesman for the Essen police on Tuesday evening of the German Press Agency.
The Essen police had taken over the press work. He couldn’t say how many were injured. He was also unable to provide any information on the number of perpetrators. Investigations into the background were ongoing.
