In Hamburg, an incident at a gas station causes a stir: a caller reports that a man has poured gasoline on him and a woman. Then the perpetrator drove away with the woman. There’s a big search going on.
According to a witness, a man at a gas station in Hamburg-Langenhorn should poured fuel on the woman and the witness themselves. Then the man drove away with the woman in the car, said a police spokesman on Thursday afternoon about the information provided by the witness who had called the police in the morning.
The police did not want to confirm media reports that the woman had been pushed into the car and kidnapped by the man. “We are looking for the vehicle,” said the police spokesman. The background is completely unclear, the investigation continued. It will also be clarified whether the man and the woman were actually doused with petrol or whether it was just splashes.
