They struck near Rosenheim: two robbers attacked a cash-in-transit truck in the morning, injured one person – and fled with cash. The police are searching with numerous forces.

A A cash-in-transit truck was robbed near Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria on Friday morning. One person was injured. The two perpetrators are currently on the run, said a spokesman for the Upper Bavaria South police headquarters. They are also being searched for using a helicopter after the attack in Großkarolinenfeld. Several media outlets had previously reported.

The perpetrators were dressed in black and masked. According to initial information, they were able to steal an unknown amount of cash. Their getaway vehicle is said to be a white van.

According to police, there were two people in the cash-in-transit van at the time of the robbery. One was hit in the head with an unknown object and was injured, it was said. The police also checked information that there had been shots fired. Numerous police forces are in action.
