The incident occurred in November 2021 in Hollywood: Asap Rocky is said to have shot an acquaintance during an argument. The rapper has always denied the allegations.
The US rapper Asap Rocky (“Praise the Lord”) will probably have to answer in court for an alleged attack with a firearm. A judge ruled that there was sufficient evidence against the 35-year-old Los Angeles (local time), according to consistent US media reports. The trial could start in January.
The allegations against the musician and partner of pop star Rihanna (35) relate to an incident in Hollywood in November 2021. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is accused of pulling a gun in an argument with an acquaintance and pointing at him to have shot. The victim was slightly injured, media reports said.
In April 2022, the rapper was taken into custody in Los Angeles because of this. He was initially released on bail. In August, he was charged with an alleged attack with a firearm. The musician has always denied the allegations.
