After an accident in Kiel, rescue workers find a teenager with life-threatening injuries. The 17-year-old dies – but not as a result of the accident. Now the court has issued an arrest warrant.
A 17-year-old who died on Wednesday after a traffic accident in Kiel died from a previously sustained stab wound. This was the result of a forensic investigation, as the police and public prosecutor announced on Friday. The investigators assume that they were shortly before The 19-year-old driver was injured in an argument in the car. The district court issued an arrest warrant for manslaughter.
In the accident on Wednesday afternoon, the 19-year-old’s car collided with another at an intersection near the New Town Hall in Kiel. Two men sitting in the other car were also slightly injured. The young woman was resuscitated on the spot after the accident. However, she died a short time later on the way to the hospital.
According to the information, the car involved in the accident did not belong to the 19-year-old. The German was initially taken to a hospital after his arrest.
According to initial findings, the two young people knew each other. However, a spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office said on Thursday that they were not related to each other. Before the accident, there had already been disputes in an apartment in the Gaarden district.
