The main symptoms declared by the patients are thus identified for this fall with the current variants.
However, they differ depending on whether people have been vaccinated or not.
The main symptoms reported with two doses of vaccine
According to the British health authority, even if the symptoms are however similar for all infected people, the main ones identified in people who have received two doses are in order: sore throat, runny nose, stuffy nose, persistent cough and headache.

People who have received only one dose of vaccine have broadly the same symptoms, but the grading is different.
It is headache, runny nose, sore throat, sneezing and persistent cough.
The main symptoms reported for unvaccinated people
The most common symptoms seen by unvaccinated people are: headache, sore throat, runny nose, fever and persistent cough.
As the application specifies, loss of smell comes in ninth position and shortness of breath comes in 30th position. This demonstrates that the symptoms recorded at the start of the pandemic differ with the evolutionary variants of the virus.
