Court decision on veterinary clinic: reference for the monument protector – Munich

The VGH decision to stop the demolition of the veterinary clinic calls into question the construction of a physics campus – and the judgment of the competent authority as well.

Mathias Pfeil has a personal and a professional opinion on the buildings of the veterinary clinic in the English Garden. That’s how the man with the nice title “General Curator of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation” explained it in an interview with the SZ a year ago. He himself thinks that what is currently on Queen Street is nicer than the planned new buildings for the physics faculty of the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU). So far the personal opinion, which has nothing to do with the matter at hand.
