Coupe de France / Draw: Versailles (N2) inherits Nice, Monaco will face Nantes or Bastia

Versailles knew that the road was going to get tougher to continue its fabulous epic. The Yvelines club, resident of N2 and Petit Poucet of the last four after his victory against Bergerac (0-0, 4-5 tab), was served. The draw for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, carried out on Wednesday evening on the set of France Télévisions, designated Nice as his opponent. A club which occupies third place in the Ligue 1 standings and which has just signed a demonstration against OM (4-1) in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. The Versaillese will face a mountain.

Nantes and Bastia also know, already, that a big piece will await whoever emerges victorious from this last quarter-final on Thursday evening. The winner of this confrontation will indeed receive a Monaco team in renewed form under the direction of Philippe Clément. After dominating Lyon on Saturday in the league, the Monegasques dominated Amiens (2-0) without difficulty to reach the last four of the competition. The prospect of hosting the ASM and being able to count on the support of the public will further motivate Nantes and Bastia residents.
