Don’t know where your head is? The e-mail box is full. Memos are stacked on the desk. The phone rings. And there are two employees in the office who need information.
There are those moments when the business world collapses on you. Most bosses now box the tasks away, jump from one to the other and are completely exhausted by the end of the day.
Take a deep breath and take a look
First tip: Take your time now. You might even get a coffee or mineral water. Close the door and clean up the mess.
Every doctor and emergency responder learns this: when they arrive at the scene of an accident, the first thing they do is get an overview. He cares neither for those in front of him nor for those who shout the loudest, but goes where it is most needed. To do this, he must have looked at everything briefly.

Make a to-do list
Second tip: Write all tasks on a piece of paper. A digital to-do list is even better, because it is clearer and you can delete or move tasks more quickly. Microsoft Outlook is a good choice and is easy to use.
Give each task a deadline by which it must be completed. And more importantly: give it a priority, for example green, yellow, red. There are important tasks with which you achieve much more than with others.

Third tip: If your workday has ten hours, then ask yourself if you have to do everything yourself. Aren’t there administrative tasks that you can delegate or for which you would be better off hiring a freelancer or a mini-jobber?
Although you spend more money, you gain in quality of life. And if you do the important jobs in a more relaxed manner, the mood in the office may be more motivated. Then maybe there will be more or more lucrative orders.
