Cosmos Kebab: Restaurant owner sends spicy skewer to stratosphere

Watch the video: restaurant owner sends kebab from Turkey into space.

Strange and original. A restaurant owner in the Turkish city of Adana came up with the idea of celebrating the 61st anniversary of the first manned space flight in a very special way. Namely, by sending a spicy kebab skewer into space on April 9th. For this, the restaurateur Yasar Aydin provided the Turkish delicacy with a special construction that was supposed to withstand the extreme journey. The transport in the direction of space was carried out with a helium balloon, which started from Adana. The object was around three hours before the balloon exploded in the stratosphere at an estimated altitude of around 35 to 40 kilometers and the kebab skewer then surrendered to gravity again. He came down in the province of Hatay, about 120 kilometers from the launch site. According to the restaurant owner, the experiment should even be repeated – but then with other spicy dishes. So better be careful with excursions in the Adana area.
