Report: Covid-19’s devastating impact on other diseases
The Covid-19 pandemic is having a catastrophic impact on the fight against other deadly diseases. This was reported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Tuberculosis and AIDS patients are particularly affected – the number of treatments and tests for both diseases has fallen significantly as a result of the pandemic. “The Covid-19 pandemic had a devastating impact on the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in 2020.”

RKI reports 13,565 new infections – the incidence is 82.7
The seven-day incidence of new corona infections fell slightly again. According to the morning’s Robert Koch Institute, it was 82.7 – the previous day the value was 83.8, a week ago it was 75.7. The health authorities in Germany reported 13,565 new infections to the RKI within one day. A week ago the value was 13,531 infections. According to the new information, 35 deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours. A week ago there were 23 deaths. The RKI has counted 4,030,681 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic.
