It’s not a quiet start to the year for Bavarian Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU). The Omikron wave is coming, the Prime Ministers will be deliberating this Friday. Therefore, a call from the health ministers is rushed again. Holetschek, who has been in office for almost exactly a year and since then has only been concerned with Corona, still takes time on this day for the interview with the SZ, in the ministry in the east of Munich. He lets the cell phone hum, only one time he answers and briefly leaves the room, “Hello, Markus, servus”. Prime Minister Söder is calling.
