The weather on Coronation Day is not supposed to be particularly good. The planned air show in London could therefore be cancelled.
The planned air show for the coronation of King Charles III. (74) could fall victim to bad weather. The weather forecast for tomorrow, Saturday (May 6th) does not appear to be looking particularly good for London. The program item with the airplanes could therefore be shortened or cancelled, reports “Daily Mail”. However, a cancellation is the “last resort”, it said.

According to British media reports, a show by the British Air Force Royal Air Force aerobatic team with 60 aircraft is planned to conclude the celebrations for the coronation day. Historical aircraft should also be on display. The newly crowned King and Queen Camilla, 75, are said to be watching the airmen from the balcony of Buckingham Palace along with other members of the royal family. However, rain and clouds could cause problems for the pilots.
Those attending the coronation street parties and official events may also need a raincoat. In the early afternoon showers should reach London, according to the weather forecast. However, there could also be sunny periods.
