Despite all the animosity that the competition between the great economic powers of Europe, the USA and China has brought about in the past few decades, one thing was mostly reliable: if things went downhill in the euro zone, for example, the downturn was offset by better development braked in the United States. Or in the People’s Republic. Or the other way around. On the other hand, it almost never happens that all three centers of the global economy slide into recession at the same time. This summer or fall, however, could be exactly that.
