Germany wants to relax in three steps

A new resolution proposal for today’s federal-state meeting, which dem ARD Capital Studio is available, provides for extensive relaxation.

In a first step, private meetings for vaccinated and recovered people should be possible again without limiting the number of participants. Due to the particular risk to those who have not been vaccinated, the restrictions for these people will remain in place until March 19, 2022, according to the draft. Access to retail should be possible nationwide for everyone without controls.

A second step from March 4th is intended to facilitate access to restaurants, discotheques, clubs and major national events.

The far-reaching restrictions on social, cultural and economic life are to be gradually lifted by the start of spring on March 20, 2022. The home office regulations are also no longer applicable. After that, basic protective measures, such as wearing medical masks in particular, should take effect.
