The Munich Regional Court dealt with claims for damages after a corona vaccination in a lawsuit on Tuesday. As a court spokesman announced, the plaintiff is demanding, among other things, compensation for pain and suffering of at least 250,000 euros from Biontech, the manufacturer of the vaccine, because of alleged damage to health. The vaccine was given to her in Munich in April 2021.
The woman states that she has suffered from permanent impairments since the vaccination. Biontech, on the other hand, denies that there is a connection with the corona vaccination.
According to the spokesman, the court gave the company and the plaintiff four months to submit written statements on the case at Tuesday’s hearing. A date for the pronouncement of judgment was therefore not set.
The procedure is one of several in the Free State in which manufacturers of corona vaccines have been sued for damages due to alleged vaccine damage. Among other things, a civil case against the manufacturer Astrazeneca is running at the higher regional court in Bamberg. After the start of the hearing, August 14 was given as the date for the verdict.
