Corona vaccination requirement: the difference between reason and freedom – culture

Let’s start with Robin Alexander and his sadness. As the deputy world-Editor-in-chief spoke to Markus Lanz about a possible vaccination requirement on November 2nd – long before the Bundestag and Bundesrat decided on a limited vaccination requirement for health workers last week – he looked like someone whose liberal world was falling apart. Alexander: “I would rather have a society where people are prepared (to vaccinate) out of reason, and not because the great Angela Merkel does this with her finger.” Alexander waves his index finger threateningly. Lanz replied: “But it doesn’t seem to be working.” Alexander is silent, shrugs his shoulders and, God, he looks sad.
