The autumn wave hits Bavaria’s clinics with full force

In the Bavarian clinics there are again significantly more patients with a corona infection. This means once again a very high burden for the staff.

The situation in the hospitals is more tense than ever. In the district of Mühldorf, a facility even has to close so that staff can help out elsewhere. And the state government? Do nothing for now.

On Monday, a previously unique case became public in the districts of Mühldorf and Altötting. Accordingly, the clinic in Haag (Mühldorf district) will be closed for three months, from November 1st to probably January 31st, 2023. The reason for this drastic step: The employees from Haag have to work in the clinic belonging to the local clinic network in Help out in Mühldorf, where operations could no longer be maintained without additional staff due to the massive corona autumn wave.
