“We take care of that among men,” says the man on Marienplatz in Munich, whom his companion calls “Andi”. He had circled and mobbed his target, a photojournalist, for at least a minute beforehand. Suddenly he strikes, hits the journalist in the face. His companion pulls him away. He can go into hiding among those who have gathered there: anti-vaccination opponents, pandemic deniers, believers in conspiracies. They have not registered their meeting on Marienplatz. The state security of the Munich police are investigating – because of bodily harm and because of the unreported gathering.
