British Prime Minister Johnson has confirmed that he will largely lift the corona measures in July. Mask requirements and distance rules would no longer apply, clubs would reopen. The final decision will be made next Monday.
Despite the increasing number of corona cases and the further spread of the delta variant, Great Britain wants to lift the mask requirement indoors and the distance requirement in July.
Companies that have yet to remain closed, as well as nightclubs, should then be allowed to reopen. There should no longer be any upper capacity limits, even for major events such as sports competitions or concerts.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that people would then have to make “informed decisions” on their own responsibility. It is planned to end the restrictions on July 19. A final decision will not be made until July 12th.
“Be honest with us”
“We have to be honest with ourselves. If we can’t reopen our society in the next few weeks, when we get help from the arrival of summer and school holidays, then we have to ask ourselves when we can get back to normal,” she said Johnson continues.

More deaths for sure
Johnson admitted, “This pandemic is not over yet.” Sadly, Britain has to prepare for more deaths from the corona virus.
The prime minister, who has the final say in health policy for England but not for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, is relying on the progress of the vaccination campaign in his easing course. According to government data, 86 percent of adults in the UK had been vaccinated at least once as of Monday. 64 percent have already received two doses of the vaccine.
The UK has recorded more than 128,000 deaths from Corona, the highest number in Western Europe.
