According to the health department, there was a major wave of infection in a retirement home. There, 23 residents and 15 employees have tested positive. A total of 57 residents in five facilities are currently infected, as well as 51 employees in ten facilities. The authority also reports that due to the current situation at the test centers in Zenettistrasse in Fürstenfeldbruck and Kerschensteiner Strasse in Germering, there may be longer waiting times. However, it is not possible to employ more staff there due to the spatial conditions. On the other hand, the evaluation of the tests and the transmission of the results are faster again, since the district office has arranged for additional transfers of test kits to the evaluating laboratory, which in turn was able to increase capacities.
