Corona in the district of Ebersberg: 7000 vaccination doses for children – Ebersberg

The impatience of many parents in the district had become noticeable. In the past few weeks, they had repeatedly asked in social networks that younger children can also be vaccinated against the corona virus. Now it will be possible shortly. On December 15th, the child vaccinations should start in the vaccination center, if everything goes well.

The Standing Vaccination Commission has explicitly recommended the corona vaccination, especially for children with previous illnesses. But other five to eleven year olds can now also be vaccinated if the children and parents want it. In the Ebersberg vaccination center, one prepares for it. The first 7,000 batches of Biontech’s child-approved vaccine are expected there at the beginning of the week. You can already make appointments for child vaccinations via the vaccination center’s hotline, telephone (08092) 86 31 40.

Vaccinations should also be used in schools

According to the district office, work is also being carried out on various concepts for mobile vaccinations for children in schools and communities. Parents whose children suffer from previous illnesses should, according to the authority’s advice, contact their doctor about a vaccination.

The offer for adults who want to protect themselves from the coronavirus will also be ramped up again. On this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, December 11th and 12th, you can come to the vaccination center Ebersberg and the branch in Poing without an appointment, but only between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. During this period, vaccination without an appointment is also possible on the following weekend, December 18th and 19th.

There is even an open vaccination offer between the years. On Monday and Tuesday, December 27th and 28th, you don’t need an appointment at the vaccination center in Ebersberg from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In the Poing branch, the offer is valid on these two days from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Except for the New Year, vaccinations will be offered every weekend from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Ebersberg and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Poing on every weekend from January onwards.

For vaccinations at all other times, an appointment must be made, this is online at www.impfzentren.bayern and by telephone on the hotline of the vaccination center at (08092) 86 31 40. The district of Ebersberg is still lagging behind when it comes to vaccination. 65.23 percent of the district residents are fully vaccinated with first and second vaccinations. 67.8 percent of people across Bavaria are fully vaccinated, nationwide as much as 69.4 percent. When it comes to boosters, however, the Ebersbergers are ahead: 26.85 percent already have a third vaccination. In Bavaria it is 22.2 percent, in Germany 21.3 percent.

The seven-day incidence drops to 376.8

As far as the new infections are concerned, the situation in the district continues to relax. 71 new cases were reported in the Ebersberg district on Friday. On the comparison day of the previous week, there were 125 new cases. A total of 1205 people from the Ebersberg district currently tested positive for the corona virus.

The value for the seven-day incidence in the district of Ebersberg was 376.8 on Friday, again lower than the day before, when the value had been calculated as 416.4. According to the district office, there have not yet been any delays in reporting in the Ebersberg district, so the current figures have been passed on in each case. In the past few weeks it had been reported from other regions that the incidence calculation was not meaningful due to reporting delays. The incidence calculated in the district of Ebersberg corresponds to the current situation in the district, according to the district office.

There is something new when it comes to hospital care for patients. The Erding Rescue Association, to which the districts of Erding, Ebersberg and Freising belong, will in future be cooperating with the neurological rehabilitation clinic in Ingolstadt. It will act as a relief facility in the future. This means that the hospitals from Erding, Ebersberg and Freising can transfer corona patients who do not require acute inpatient treatment but still need care there. 20 beds are available there. The Erdinger district administrator Martin Bayerstorfer (CSU) has now announced.
