There is a lot going on in the House – and again about the virus. Verena Schäffer, co-leader of the Green parliamentary group, stands at the lectern of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament. The 35-year-old reviled the pandemic policy of the black and yellow NRW coalition as “a disaster”, Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) vowed vigilance, but what he actually achieved was “watch and do nothing and wait”.
