The president of Olympique Lyonnais had precisely described on February 28 in L’Equipe “a situation of no return” concerning Corinne Deacon. Because after having respectively seen the Lyonnaises Amandine Henry, Sarah Bouhaddi and Eugénie Le Sommer break with the now ex-coach of the French women’s team, JMA noted at the end of February the withdrawal of the selection of Wendie Renard, captain OL and Les Bleues.
In the process, two other major players, Kadidiatou Diani and Marie-Antoinette Katoto, had taken the same decision to drop the selection as long as there were not “profound changes”.
