Cora Schumacher left the jungle camp voluntarily. The first pictures show her great desperation before the exit.
Cora Schumacher (47), ex-wife of Formula 1 star Ralf Schumacher (48), surprisingly left the RTL jungle camp “of her own request”. The broadcaster announced this on the show on Sunday (January 21st). The why has remained unanswered to date. The first recordings and pictures that the station published on Monday show how badly the candidate was feeling shortly before moving out.
“I can’t take it anymore. I don’t want to anymore. I want to get out of here now. Now, now, now!”, she initially explains, completely desperate, to her fellow candidate Mike Heiter (31), when he asks her about her condition. In the next scene, Schumacher sits on the jungle telephone and cries bitterly… Further details about her move out will be available in the upcoming program “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” this Monday evening (January 22nd) from 10:15 p.m. or in the stream on RTL+.
Sonja Zietlow: “I didn’t see it coming”
Jan Köppen (40) and Sonja Zietlow (55) welcomed the audience to a “jungle quickie” on Sunday evening. Due to a subsequent NFL broadcast, the third day of the RTL jungle camp (also via RTL+) was only summarized from 8:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. At the end of the show they dropped the Cora bomb.
“I didn’t see it coming,” explained Sonja Zietlow in an RTL interview after the live broadcast. “I thought she actually did well. I wish she hadn’t necessarily talked about Ralf. That would have suited her better. But otherwise I think it’s a shame because I think she gained a few fans.”
Schumacher’s companion in Australia, her best friend Jörg Kunze (41), was just as surprised as the fans in an interview with RTL after the announcement of her departure: “I don’t even know what to say, I’m totally shocked. I think it is It’s a shame for her, for whatever reason she’s out now. I can imagine that Lucy’s story also affected her. […] Maybe there’s something else health-wise.”
