A cook at a snack bar in Münchberg (Hof district) used a butcher’s cleaver to scare away a robber. The unknown man fled without taking anything, as the police announced on Wednesday. During the attack on Sunday, the robber threatened an employee with a kitchen knife and demanded the day’s earnings before being chased away by the 61-year-old chef. The police are now looking for witnesses.
