Consumer protection: Schufa & Co. should be protected by TÜV – Economy

Anyone who wants to have a cell phone contract or a loan in Germany needs it: the score from credit agencies such as Schufa. This is supposed to show how creditworthy a person is. With Schufa, for example, he does this on a scale from 0 to 100. The higher the rating, the more likely it is that people will be allowed to participate in economic life. However, if the score is too bad, consumers often cannot get a loan, a mobile phone contract and sometimes even a rental agreement for an apartment.
