Construction work: Detours to Aßling – Ebersberg

The bridge over the Moosach near Weiching has already been renewed, and now the Rosenheim State Building Authority is taking on state road 2080. From Monday, September 5th, the carriageway of the state road between the railway underpass near Weiching and Aßling in the district of Ebersberg will be renewed. If everything goes smoothly, the construction work can be completed by October 7th.

Over a total length of 3.5 kilometers, the verge slabs will first be produced in the necessary areas and the drainage channels will be renewed. Traffic will be diverted past the construction site with traffic lights. Immediately afterwards, from Monday, September 19, the road will be completely closed. Then the existing road surface is completely milled out and a new asphalt surface layer is installed.

During the time of the full closure, traffic will be diverted on a large scale. The diversion route for cars runs south from Aßling via the St 2079 to Emmering and then via the EBE 10 to Ostermünchen/Weiching. For trucks, the diversion route runs from Aßling via the St 2079 to Rott am Inn and then via the RO 45 to Ostermünchen/Weiching. In the opposite direction, the detour routes run accordingly.

The traffic routing was coordinated by the Rosenheim State Building Authority with the districts of Ebersberg, the district of Rosenheim, the police and other municipal authorities. The Rosenheim State Building Authority is appealing to residents and road users for understanding of the impairments.

With this measure, the Free State of Bavaria is investing 900,000 euros in the maintenance and traffic safety of state road 2080.
