Concert: Jazz pianist Cornelius Claudio Kreusch back to his roots – Munich

The German jazz pianist Cornelius Claudio Kreusch has slipped into many guises in recent years: producer, Internet entrepreneur, festival director – but now he’s back on stage. On Wednesday, June 21, he will present his 2021 album “Transformer” at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, a return to his core competence, solo improvisation. He himself says: “In his best moments, the artist is an engineer of transformation. The jazz pianist is an improviser and thus the transformer of the moment.”

Kreusch, who studied at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, has undertaken excursions in a wide variety of musical directions in the course of his career – large band projects have taken him through world music, funk and pop. In “Transformer” he now bundles all those influences on his own.
