Olaf Scholz had only been Chancellor a few days when he made a remarkable claim. He wanted to shape a style there, he said in an interview with time. It should be about doing and not about the show. It almost sounded as if his predecessor Angela Merkel had once jumped from the Friedrichstadtpalast to the Chancellery to stage a permanent political show there.
