“I have just filed a complaint for defamation against three deputies of the town hall of Marseille”, announces this Friday Nicolas Pagnol, the grandson of the famous Provençal writer. This news follows the skirmishes that took place on Twitter with Théo Challande-Névoret (EELV) and the two socialists Pierre Huguet and Jean-Pierre Cochet.

The term “fags” obviously did not pass to the three deputies targeted by defamation complaints who respectively denounced a homophobic and “putophobic” insult“indecent remarks which dishonor the name of Pagnol” and “rancid homophobia” of this diatribe.
The grandson of Marcel Pagnol, supports using the term lopette in the first sense, which means, according to Larousse, a man without character. In slang, however, this term does designate a homosexual. And this debate looks like a new storm in the glass of water at the Château de la Buzine.
