Coming Soon ?? : Cardano’s Vasil Hard Fork is scheduled for September.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has shared a brief update on the Vasil Hard Fork, named after Vasil Dabov. Cardano’s recently deceased mathematician.

Hoskinson said “extensive testing is still ongoing” and he also shared technical details about the hard fork progress, including a number of bugs he knows will need to be fixed.

Hoskinson said the hard fork will happen “during September” and it may not be a coincidence. That will happen in the same month as the long-awaited Ethereum Merge as well.

The exact date of the Vasil Hard Fork is not set yet. however Part of that is based on crypto exchanges, with Hoskinson saying: “Binance reports that they are upgrading based on volume,” adding that “generally, What happened after the Hard Fork was announced is that you will see a huge rush and people.”

When 3 to 5 of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges have upgraded their systems. “There will be a hard fork date set,” Hoskinson said, “then the rest of the exchanges will feel the urgency. and they will start upgrading. which although we have not yet reached the finish line But everything looks great.”
