Comic “In War” by Nora Krug: The person on the other side – culture

A popular stylistic device in films and computer games is the split screen. The screen is split to show what is happening at the same time. Comparisons, differences and similarities emerge. In her graphic novel “In War. Two Illustrated Diaries from Kiev and St. Petersburg,” Nora Krug similarly compares the experiences of a journalist from Kiev and an artist from St. Petersburg in the first year of the Ukrainian War.
