And the best, funniest pet photos have been chosen at the “Comedy Pet Awards” for the past three years. People from all over the world can submit their best snaps and hope to be voted the winner. Because he gets a proud 2000 euros bonus.
In principle, however, this contest is not about money: everyone who wants to take part has to pay a small fee. These fees are then donated to various animal welfare organizations. In the end, those who are so good for our mood benefit – the animals!

In 2022, Kenichi Morinaga won the main prize with his successful photo of two cats. But the other photos that made it to the final turned out great too. There are laughing horses, easygoing alpacas, lots of cheeky cats and happy dogs. However, there is one rule for taking part in the competition: the animals must not be tortured in any way for the photo and must not wear human clothing or human accessories. Such bells and whistles are not necessary at all to take great photos!
